J&A (International) Ltd of Spilsby Lincolnshire, purchased a new module building from Portakabin. J&A also had an existing brick building and a dated modular building on site for which they gave Portakabin a brief to design of a cladding system to up-date the buildings to give the appearance of a single building.

Portakabin provided us with an initial design which we then developed and produced a custom panel system to create the required aesthetically pleasing look. The supporting system was constructed using galvanised steel top-hat sections manufactured and fixed to the existing structures then powder coated aluminium panels of various sizes and colours, including feature perforated panels where installed. The panels and supporting system were all manufactured in house by our sister company (Barrass (Hull) Ltd), who also assisted us in the design.

The panels were installed over a 7 week programme to Portakabin and there clients satisfaction.
